AI and academic integrity
Finally, AI that's on your side.

Dates move for everyone
Change a due date and it changes on every timeline at once.
Paste your syllabus
Nova lays out the term's work from it, for you to check and post.
Academic integrity
What Nova will and won't do for your students.
Read it out to your class. Nova's rules are the same for every student.
Nova will
- Explain a topic another way until it clicks
- Ask what you already know, then give hints
- Break big work into steps with dates
- Make flashcards and quiz you before a test
- Check your answer and explain what went wrong
Nova won't
- Write an essay or answers for you to hand in
- Do a test or quiz for you
- Pretend to be you
- Show your chats to parents or teachers
Students who show up ready
Fewer late assignments, better prepared tests.
Steps, not panic
Big work arrives on students' timelines with steps spread out before it's due.
Reminders that work
Students hear about your deadline before it's too late, never at night.
Study before your test
Flashcards and practice from their own work, in the days before you test them.
Marks and parents
Parents in the loop, without the emails.
Release marks when you're ready
Marks go to students, and to parents they share with, when you say so.
Parents in the loop
The Sunday email to parents is made from the work you already posted.
Notes for your classes
Rich notes with files and voice, private unless you share a link.
Questions
Questions teachers ask
Is Stardo free for teachers?
Yes. Classes, posting work, rosters, notes and releasing marks are free. A teacher account starts with one class of up to 40 students; verified teachers can have more.
How do I stop students copying from AI?
No tool stops it completely. Stardo gives students an AI that's built not to do the work: Nova explains, asks questions and gives hints, and won't write graded work for them to hand in. It's easier to use than to get around.
Does it replace Google Classroom?
No. Stardo is the student's planner and sits on top of whatever your school uses. You can post work in Stardo directly, and Google Classroom sync for students is coming soon.
Can I see my students' Nova chats?
No. Students' chats, notes and files are private to them. You see the class work you post, who has joined, and the marks you release.
Why verify my teacher account?
So students and parents can trust that a class really comes from a teacher. Verified teachers can run more classes, and, where their school allows it, make accounts for students.
