Homework tracking for parents

Help them learn to learn. Skip the nagging.

Keep track of your child's homework in what they choose to share, and give them an AI study buddy that teaches instead of doing their homework.

The AI question

Your child is already using AI. Make sure it's teaching them.

Most AI tools hand over answers. Nova is built to do the opposite.

Nova will

  • Explain a topic another way until it clicks
  • Ask what you already know, then give hints
  • Break big work into steps with dates
  • Make flashcards and quiz you before a test
  • Check your answer and explain what went wrong

Nova won't

  • Write an essay or answers for you to hand in
  • Do a test or quiz for you
  • Pretend to be you
  • Show your chats to parents or teachers

Know without asking

See how school's going, without the questions at dinner.

Their timeline

Every assignment and test they share, with what's done and what's late.

Their marks

If they choose to share them, as marks come back.

A Sunday email

The week ahead in one email, so Sunday evening starts calm.

Plus

A note from Nova

Two or three sentences on how the week went, from what they share.

Trust works both ways

They choose what you see. That's why it works.

Teens decide what each parent sees, so it never feels like spying, and they stay in charge of their own work. Fewer evenings turn into arguments.

Younger children

For younger children, you set it up.

  • You see everything you set up
  • Nothing to install: it works in the browser

Questions

Questions parents ask

How do I know what homework my child has?

Your child links your parent account and chooses what you see, like their timeline of assignments and tests, or their marks. You also get a Sunday email with the week ahead.

Can I see my child's Nova chats?

No. Chats, notes and files belong to the student. That privacy is why teens actually use it, and it's how they learn to manage their own work. You see what they share.

Is AI safe for my child's school work?

Nova is built to teach, not to do the work: it explains, asks questions, gives hints and quizzes, and it won't write graded work for your child to hand in. For younger children, Nova stays off until you turn it on.

My child is under 13. Can they use Stardo?

Yes, with an account you make for them. It has a username and no email, can't make public share links, and Nova's homework help is off until you turn it on.

What does it cost?

Stardo is free to start for students and parents. The Family plan adds more of Nova for your children and a short note from Nova in your Sunday email. Children never see a payment screen; they ask you instead.

Does Stardo replace a tutor?

No. Nova helps between lessons, any time, with explanations, practice and planning. A person who knows your child is still worth a lot; Stardo makes the time in between count.
